We are looking for a Real Estate Transactions Partner with 8+ years of experience to join a well-established 45-attorney firm handling sophisticated commercial real estate transactions for high-end clients — including those who previously used AmLaw 100 firms like Gibson Dunn. This is a non-equity partner role with a clear, transparent path to equity (where partners earn seven figures) at a firm that values breadth, substance, and entrepreneurial drive.
What will you be doing?
Leading complex commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development deals (think $200M+ transactions)
Drafting and negotiating purchase/sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents, joint venture agreements, and development agreements
Managing transactions from inception through closing — including due diligence, title review, entity structuring, and coordinating with lenders and counterparties
Building and developing client relationships with the goal of growing your own book of business over time
Collaborating in-office with partners and associates to mentor junior attorneys and contribute to firm culture
Key Requirements
Broad real estate transactional experience — not just one niche (must have touched acquisitions, financing, leasing, and development)
Sophistication of matters handled — high-value commercial real estate deals, not just residential or small transactions
Willing to work in-office 4 days per week at the firm's Los Angeles location
Active California bar membership with impeccable writing (typos or grammatical errors are fatal)
Substantive depth — must be able to answer detailed questions about your actual work product without deflecting
