We are looking for a Real Estate Litigation Partner with 8+ years of experience to join a well-established 45-attorney firm handling high-value commercial real estate disputes for sophisticated clients — including those who previously used AmLaw 100 firms like Gibson Dunn. This is a non-equity partner role with a clear, transparent path to equity (where partners earn seven figures) at a firm that values breadth, substance, and entrepreneurial drive.
Leading complex commercial real estate litigation matters involving acquisitions, financing, title disputes, and high-value property transactions (think $200M+ deals)
Working closely with the firm's real estate practice group to handle disputes that require deep knowledge of underlying real estate law
Managing cases from inception through resolution — including substantive motions, discovery, and trial
Building and developing client relationships with the goal of growing your own book of business over time
Collaborating in-office with partners and associates to mentor junior attorneys and contribute to firm culture
Key Requirements
Broad real estate litigation experience — not just one niche (must have touched acquisitions, financing, title issues, and commercial disputes)
Sophistication of matters handled — high-value commercial real estate disputes, not just residential or small transactions
Willing to work in-office 4 days per week at the firm's Los Angeles location
Active California bar membership with impeccable writing (typos or grammatical errors are fatal)
Substantive depth — must be able to answer detailed questions about your actual work product without deflecting
