What You Will Bring

·    Minimum 4-6 years related financial services experience with credit applications and underwriting process in commercial real estate, construction project management, and facilities including loan/lease documentation, property insurance and UCC filings.

·        Experience with Salesforce, Tableau required.

·        Bachelor’s degree required.

·        Self-starter with excellent time management skills and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.

·        Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams, outside consultants and vendors.

·        Working knowledge of UCC filings and commercial real estate insurance.

·        Working knowledge of processing commercial real estate construction draws.

·        Proficient with Salesforce, Tableau, loan/asset management, billing, etc.

·        Agility to adapt to new processes and products to meet company strategic goals.

 

Work Environment

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.

 

The posted salary range for this job takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. Successful candidates may be hired anywhere in the salary range based on these factors. It is uncommon to hire candidates at or near the top of the range.

What to Expect

The Sr. Commercial Real Estate Associate is responsible for assisting with management of loan draws and closings, and provides portfolio reporting, tracking and management of strategic assets, including real estate, construction, signage, electric vehicle charging facilities, hydrogen fuel cell assets, etc., in support of Hyundai, Kia and Genesis brands. In addition, this position assists with providing analysis in support of loan and lease underwriting activities.

 

What You Will Do

1.      Construction Draw Management

·        Assist with the construction loan draw process to ensure proper documents and inspections prior to funding.

·        Coordinate with legal, title companies and construction consultants to ensure information is obtained for our review and processing.

·        Monitor and follow through with construction loans during the lifecycle.

2.      Portfolio Management

·        Support the existing real estate portfolio by reviewing loan maturity, UCC lien filings, insurance renewals and work with stakeholders to manage renewals.

·        Monitor and track the workflow for renewals and covenant compliance.

·        Prepare portfolio summary reports for tracking loan quality, compliance issues and process improvement opportunities.

3.      Real Estate and Construction Loan Support

·        Collaborate with Legal, Sales team, Operations and underwriting team on financial and collateral documents for new and existing accounts.

·        Order and obtain all required reports to include appraisals, environmental reports, ALTA Surveys, PZR Zoning reports, and title reports.

·        Evaluate and provide appropriate recommendations involving the appraisal reports, environmental reports, credit reports and other credit requirements. 

4.      Loan Closing Process

·        Assist with the documentation & loan closing process and follow through with loan closing counsel and borrower (client) to ensure compliance and timely closing to ensure all applicable information is entered in system.
