A top tier, well-capitalized real estate firm in a rapid growth phase is in need of a results-driven Senior FP&A Analyst to its corporate finance team in Los Angeles. This role sits close to leadership and plays a direct part in budgeting, forecasting, asset-level performance analysis, and strategic decision-making across a growing portfolio.

*$120-$150K (base + full 1st year annual bonus)

*3 days/week hybrid in office*

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial and operational data to deliver clear, actionable insights on performance, variances, and trends
  • Prepare detailed property performance analysis, identifying drivers and improvement opportunities
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting packages for executive leadership
  • Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with asset managers, operators, and department heads
  • Support preparation of quarterly board materials, coordinating inputs across functions
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models providing multi-year visibility into performance and strategy
  • Partner cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives and operational objectives
  • Work with IT and other teams to automate reporting, support systems implementations, and develop BI dashboards
  • Leverage third-party market and industry data to inform decision-making
  • Mentor and support junior analysts as the team continues to scale

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • 3โ€“6 years of FP&A and/or financial reporting experience within commercial real estate or a related industry
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong analytical rigor and attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including complex financial modeling and executive-level presentations
  • Experience with real estate accounting systems and data analytics tools is a plus
  • Clear, confident communicator able to partner across all levels of the organization
