The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the re-manufacturing of commercial laundry systems, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently achieved. This role involves leading production teams, optimizing workflows, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed operational goals.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 to $105,000 annually based on qualifications and experience.

Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities.

What you will do:

  • Plan, organize, and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and quality standards.
  • Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions to maintain productivity and efficiency.
  • Supervise and lead manufacturing teams, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with production control and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Works with production control to develops capacity planning to ensure manpower is aligned to operational goals.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, Six Sigma, TPS).
  • Manage production budgets, control costs, and report on performance indicators.
  • Investigate production issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime and waste.
  • Works with facilities management to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
  • Leads by promoting good teamwork with a friendly, helpful attitude towards all employees
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing or production environment, including supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Experience in supply chain, planning, inventory management, and shop floor control.
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems (Sales Force A+) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong hands-on experience with lean manufacturing (TPS), Six Sigma, and quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
