The Commercial Real Estate Intern will begin to explore the world of the Commercial Real Estate Lending and Credit Union industry by assisting with the processing of commercial real estate loan files from receipt of Letter of Interest through closing, servicing and portfolio management in compliance with the policies and procedures of American First Credit Union and regulatory compliance.  This individual will be required to follow general instructions and perform finance and administrative related tasks requiring at least basic level knowledge of commercial real estate principles and practices.

Pay Range: $17.50 an hour

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in higher divisional (junior or senior year) college level coursework or enrolled in a graduate level degree program in Finance, Real Estate or Business. 
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions; communicate and interact professionally with team members.
• Ability to make suggestions and solve problems as they occur.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to work within specific time constraints with a high degree of accuracy.
• Basic understanding of commercial real estate lending principles and practices. 

Schedule

Onsite position 

Mon-Fri up to 29 hours a week. 

Up to a 6-month paid internship
