A contract-to-hire opportunity is available for an attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience to support a specialized real estate litigation practice based in Newport Beach, California.

This role involves handling a range of specialized real estate and civil litigation matters, including unlawful detainers, property-related disputes, and regulatory issues. The position offers the opportunity to manage cases from initiation through resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, taking depositions, and appearing in court.

The role is structured as a contract position with the potential to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs. Candidates must be based in Southern California and available for court appearances and occasional in-person meetings.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of litigation experience
• Active California Bar license
• Substantial law firm experience
• Experience with discovery, motion practice, and court appearances
• Strong writing, analytical, and case management skills

Work Arrangement:

• Hybrid or remote within Southern California
• In-person attendance required for court and key meetings

Compensation:

• Approximately $75-$105 / hr., depending on experience
