Who We Are 
Here at Marshall Reddick, we are a fast-based, rapidly changing and growing, full-service residential real estate firm.  We have 3 distinct lines of business allowing us to provide multiple professional real estate services to the client, including real estate brokerage, property management and private lending.  We have multiple office locations, including FL, TN and TX, currently however, our private lending team is housed in our corporate home office in Newport Beach, CA. Founded in 1979, with the private lending division added in 2010, Marshall Reddick is committed to our mission—become the bridge connecting each client to financial independence through real estate. 
 
Our private lending team is laser focused, originating 1stlien, non-owner occupied, business purpose loans for residential real estate investor borrowers. Backed by our internally managed debt fund, we lend direct—off our own balance sheet and thus the guidelines are all ours.  This provides us with a competitive edge—common sense, no-red tape, collateral based underwriting and fast funding.  We seek to find a way to say yes, when others say no. We love single family homes but welcome small multi-family assets including apartments of 5-20 units.  We also specialize in non-recourse financing for the self-directed retirement account borrower.  We don’t lend against mixed use, office, medical, retail or industrial. 


The Opportunity
We are looking for an—in-office—professional, knowledgeable and motivated loan officer/account executive with a prior record of success to join our team.  This is primarily an inside sales role but travel to real estaterelated conferences and events is encouraged.  As a loan officer/account executive with Marshall Reddick, you’ll become an expert—and sell—our entire suite of business purpose loan products, including residential transition, bridge and ground up new construction.  Although we are primarily originating short and mid-term loans (3-60 months), we have the resources and relationships to broker long-term loans, both DSCR (through a wholesale lender) and Non-Recourse (through a bank lender).  Although we’ll provide warm, incoming borrower leads, the goal is to build your own book of business through prospecting and networking.  Your success is our success and we’ll strive to provide the resources and support needed.  This includes in-house underwriting, quick loan approval, timely construction draw management and superior customer service.

Please note: This is NOT a remote position and will require the selected person to work out of our Newport Beach office.

What You'll Do

    • Show up and consistently give 100%—every single day 
    • Outbound calls, generate leads and take loan applications 
    • Educate borrowers about our loan products, provide loan quotes and pre-approval letters 
    • Gather basic borrower documentation, stay on as liaison between client and underwriting 
    • Seek out and build relationships with loan brokers, wholesalers and other referral partners 
    • Daily follow up with leads/relationships—phone, text, email—input all activity into the CRM 
    • Attend training sessions, team meetings and professional development opportunities 
    • Stay organized and manage a pipeline of 10–15 loans at all times 
    • Take ownership of sales/production, consistently originating $3MM+ in volume monthly  

What Qualifies You

    • 2+ years of experience in private money, business-purpose lending  
    • Charismatic, proven ability to source and close borrowers, and deals 
    • Strong sales and communication skills, confidence in speaking and educating 
    • High attention to detail with a sense of urgency to manage timelines/deadlineseffectively 
    • Familiarity with CRM and software systems 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
