What Will You Do?

  • Supervise all housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Coordinate daily room assignments, special requests, and VIP services.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure rooms and public areas meet brand and company cleanliness standards.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, including room attendants, housepersons, and supervisors.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to meet occupancy and labor budgets.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
  • Handle guest complaints and special requests with urgency and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with the front office and maintenance departments to address service requests and maintenance needs.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.
  • Prepare and manage department budgets, including labor, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure proper cost controls and implement sustainable practices.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
  • Conduct regular training on safety procedures, chemical handling, and emergency response.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of managerial experience in housekeeping within a hotel environment (preferably 100+ rooms)
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a large team
  • Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and get them done in a timely manner
  • Must possess strong knowledge of workplace safety procedures within the Hospitality Industry
  • Proficient Knowledge of Microsoft applications
