Our client, an entrepreneurial private lender expanding in Southern California seeks a talented Bridge Loan Officer to originate new loans for their portfolio across the Western region.

Our client does things differently – from their open-door policy at investment committee to removing the administrative burden of having to steward a deal through the funding process, allowing their originations team to focus on client and business development.

The ideal Bridge Loan Officer candidate has 3-5+ years’ commercial real estate debt underwriting and/or originations experience, a strong internal drive, and the desire to build a business that is both professionally and financially rewarding.

They are a team player and individual contributor, able to identify potential clients and lending opportunities for the platform, and successfully hand the baton to other team members through underwriting & closing/funding.

As a small team in growth mode, there's incredible room for professional development, collaborating with other internal teams, working on new loan products as they're developed, and expanding their footprint in the region. This role is remote/hybrid/based in the Greater LA market.

A day in the life of a successful Bridge Loan Officer includes, but is not limited to:

  • Originating and closing new loan opportunities, with a focus on bridge loans, across the Los Angeles market

  • Developing & maintaining relationships with real estate investors, brokers, and agents

  • Building a strong pipeline of high-quality loan prospects

  • Structuring competitive loan solutions aligned with client needs and company goals

  • Partnering with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to deliver smooth, timely funding

  • Representing our client as a trusted leader in the regional market


Requirements

The ideal Bridge Loan Officer candidate possesses the following skills & experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business, accounting, or related field

  • 3-+ years in commercial lending/banking/financial services with a track record of exceeding goals

  • Active NMLS registration

  • Mastery of commercial loan structures, underwriting, and risk

  • Fluent in financial statement and credit analysis

  • Elite communicator and negotiator; relationship builder across clients and internal teams

  • CRM discipline and strong Excel proficiency
